Today Morissette celebrated 122nd Independence Day on Kumu app with her fans.
"Maligayang araw ng kalayaan sa aking mga kababayan" she said.
As the program starts she shared to us fans that before she signed to any record label. Star Music and Universal Records similarly offered her to interpret and take part in their song writing competitions. Star Music for Himig Handog and to interpret "Akin ka na lang" while Universal Records offered her to join PhilPOP music competition and to interpret the song "Awit Mo'y Nandito Pa". Long story short she then decided to sign up to Star Music.
The fans went wild as she asked everyone to comment down where they are coming from. She was overjoyed for a lot of foreign and pinoy fans are commenting.
Morissette also thanked her fans for greeting her 10th year anniversary in the industry. #RoadTo10thYearAnniversary! She also announced that she will be performing the timeless Visayan classic "Usahay" for this Independence Day special online series #DatiAkongParaluman, with a spine-tingling arrangement by ‘National Artist for Music’ RYAN CAYABYAB!
After promoting, she started her program "Translate Visayan song to Tagalog" a Visayan Tribute!
